3 Months old

3MJ

Jeremiah turned three months old yesterday.  It’s hard to believe that it’s already been three months, but of course, he feels like he’s always been here, so another part of me can’t believe that he’s ONLY three months old.

I haven’t had much chance to blog about the little guy, but let me just say, he has brought us nothing but joy.   I honestly had no idea that I would love being his mom this much.  Between those super kissable cheeks, and his sweet sweet personality, I have a hard time putting him down much of the day, and all of those little things about taking care of a baby that I was nervous about are actually really wonderful and a treat to do.

Another Covenant Child

Last Sunday, Jeremiah was baptized at our church by Nathaniel’s dad.   I had watched countless babies be baptized before, but to stand up there, to have MY son held and sprinkled, and to be the ones vowing to God to raise this child in Him was more special than I knew it would be.  We waited so long for him, and so many prayed for him to be here, so to be able to promise him to God was quite a privilege.   And, how much more special can a baptism be than to have his grandpa administer it?  We had a lot of friends and family come to our church to witness it, and afterwards the church had a special meal to celebrate their new Covenant child.  It was a wonderful day.

Here’s some pictures of the special day:
