Well, after four years, we’re back in Peru!
We’ve had such a great time so far. It is amazing how so much in our lives have changed since we’ve last been here, but almost everything here has stayed the same. For instance, there’s still the crazy, one armed artist who lives next door and creates racy sculptures and paints pictures of himself. There’s still the same people who work in the church and on the property, and everything still smells the same (and sometimes that’s not a good thing…ahem). There’s also the warmth of everyone we meet, whether they are old friends or people we’ve never seen before. There’s the same old simplicity of life around here which makes the days long but happy. And there’s still those beautiful mountains...
