Things like this remind me of the nightmares that I get whenever I have the flu, and therefore make me nauseous to watch. It's actually the exact same feeling I got when I watched the Catacombs skit for the first time.

When I was in high school, a librarian helping me find info on a report told me to never only use one search engine, but that I should use several for the same topic. although this advice was well engrained in my mind, i have yet to follow it, and generally only use dogpile for all of my searches.

My blackberry can play youtube videos, so I was really excited to hear that they were going to be getting full episodes on the site. However, it turns that this section of youtube still requires the latest version of flash. Still, the ability to watch old episodes of ALF makes it all worth it.

Very true, but what was the third reason? That is a pretty intense Lego feature - thanks for sharing. Is it Caleb?

I think there's three reasons why it's cooler:
1) Being on the cutting edge has the tendency to be nerdy/pretentious.
2) It is way harder to animate in stop-motion than when using the newest technology.

Also, if you are itching for a much longer stop-motion Lego feature, check out: http://www.davethomasfilms.com/batmandeception.html. You might even recognize the voice of the penguin (or you might not, who knows?).

That is unbelievable! That's not just a little coincidental - obviously they did just trace it, line by line. It makes you wonder if they did that because they were lazy, thought they had found the perfect formula for a dance/fight scene, or if they were hoping someone would notice the similarity and make a compilation video of it. Knowing Disney, I'm betting it's all three.
